FORGIVE

Forgiving someone is hard especially if there’s a lot of feelings attached. When we hear the word forgive, somehow we think of losing. Our prides got hurt, why should we forgive? We forgive because we deserve to be happy. Forgiving means accepting the fact that you got hurt but that doesn’t mean you trust the person again. It just means you’re letting go. Forgiving is accepting the fact that people make mistakes, at the same time giving yourself what you deserve. Freedom from the bitterness most people feel when they hold on for too long. You forgive because you do not want to be miserable and get stuck. You forgive because you are the better person.
