I am Katreena. 21. Originally, I am from the Philippines. I lived there for 14 years before moving to United States. I was also an exchange student and lived in Japan for quiet a while. Which by the way, I am very thankful for the exposure and experience. I lived in Miami with my amazing family for a year and a half and then moved to Central Florida where I met my now husband. He is the sweetest, kindest and the most loving person that I know. He was raised in Albania and moved here when he was 11. Funny how things work. I like to think that we were destined to meet here.

Both Ari and I’s family are very cultural oriented. Everyday we still learn new things about our culture. My husband manages their family restaurant. If you know anyone who manages a restaurant, you probably know how stressful it can be. In reality, I work a nine to five job and sometimes late shifts as well. We are also expecting our first born, Kostandin. We both are excited for his arrival as well as both of our family.

Another very important member of our little family is Midnight. He is a four year old American Labrador Retriever and just so you know, I do have a high quality pictures of him saved but this is the best one to describe his personality. He does not know he is a dog which is why we love him so much. He is also very excited to meet his human brother!

Writing has always been a passion of mine that I have ignored for a very long time. I used to jot scribbles down on lose pages and end up losing them. I also love expressing myself through photographs and love to talk about almost everything that I see, eat or feel. I made this blog with hopes to inspire others.

What camera do you use? 

Most of the time I use my iPhone 6S Plus camera and I edit them using VSCO cam or Colorstory. Otherwise, I use my Nikon D3300 if I have it on me and if I wanted a more epic picture.

Why did you start another blog?

I wanted something that I can carry around with me. Although the blog that I left behind was paid and hosted, I felt like I was missing something. I did some digging and decided to create another blog where I can express more without limitations. I created this for a fresh start.
