I ACCIDENTALLY DYED MY HAIR

Hi eveyone! Before I start, I just want to clarify something, and that is that before I decided to do this, I made sure to ask my doctor if it was okay. She gave me the go.

So yes as you read above, I accidentally dyed my hair. Not necessarily but close. Originally, I planned to do a light brown ombre, but then for some reason my hair either skipped the brown and red part, or just lightened so fast that by the time I finished my whole head everything literally looked pale yellow.

Well the ends anyway. The rest of my hair looks yellow and some orange to brown. I have dyed my hair from black to blonde before too many times and this is a very familiar stage, so I’m not really intimidated like I was before. When I was in high school, I remember panicking and immediately dyed my hair back to black, which was very depressing.

Granted, light hair will look different in different lighting, but here are some pictures to give you an idea.

Pretty damn bright. I did this last night and I decided to give a break and let it breathe. I don’t hate it, but I am not completely loving it. I did purchase Wella toners incase and thank God I did. I have the T18 and T14 at home that I will use tonight to tone down the yellows and oranges.

I have used T18 before but not the T14. If you have any experiences worth mentioning, please share it with me, I would love to hear them. Wish me luck!

  1. Hey!! I love it! I think it looks fantastic, yellow/burn orange and all. The toner won’t hurt it though, probably a good idea. I’m a natural light brown and when I dye my hair blonde it has the yellow undertones so I’m continuously toning it every second/third day with a toning shampoo to keep it blonde/silver.
I think you look great and by the way, I love your pink spotty dressing gown haha I have a white one with pink and dark blue spots.
